Volunteer Probation Support Program

The Nineteenth Judicial Circuit Court has been a partner of College of Lake County for many years. The College of Lake County coordinates volunteer assignments to provide support to Adult Probation. In order to explore new volunteer opportunities and enhance those already existing, Cristian Gonzalez, Volunteer Coordinator of the Court Services and Probation Support Program, has begun a new recruitment campaign.

Currently, volunteers are providing mentoring support to probation clients within the Division of Adult Probation Services. Volunteers are also assisting in the probation office with administrative duties. The Volunteer Probation Support Program is seeking volunteers who will assist in enhancing the services provided to probation clients. Although the program has undergone many changes, it has always been dependent on the time, skills, and experiences of volunteers.

If you would like more information on volunteer opportunities or are willing to share your skills, please call Cristian Gonzalez at 847-543-2748. He can also be contacted through email at cgonzalez35@clcillinois.edu. Cristian will be happy to accept your application and your generous gift of volunteerism. If you know of anyone else who is looking for a chance to serve their community, please pass this information on to them!
