Beware of Jury Duty Scams
For All Jurors
Jurors must report to the Jury Assembly Room at the times posted above. Bring your juror badge with you. All other jurors are to check the Jury Information Recorded Message Line at 1-(847) 249-5879 each day you are not assigned to a trial. You must check the Jury Information System at 11:15 AM for 1:30 PM service and after 4:15 PM for the next morning.
The Jury Assembly Room (Room 110) is located on the 1st floor of the courthouse closest to the Washington Street entrance. If you enter through the Washington Street entrance, go up the stairs or elevator to the 1st floor, continue to the right. The Jury Assembly Room will be on your left. If you enter through the north courthouse entrance, proceed to the left across the rotunda, down the main court hallway. At the far end, continue following the hallway to the right directly to the Jury Assembly Room.

Parking for Jurors
FREE Parking is provided for jurors in the City of Waukegan parking garage, located at 225 N. County Street, approximately 1 1/2 blocks north of the Lake County Building/Courthouse. (Red brick, 3 story garage with green awnings). When you enter the parking garage you will pull a ticket. Please bring the ticket with you to the Jury Assembly Room for validation.
Parking anywhere other than the City of Waukegan parking garage could result in your vehicle being ticketed or towed. Jurors choosing to park in other areas (including the Lake County Parking Garage) must pay their own parking fees. Parking violations issued to jurors during jury service are the responsibility of the juror.
ROUTE TO THE COUNTY BUILDING FROM THE PARKING GARAGE
Walk one block south onto the west side of County Street. The closest entrance is up the north entrance ramp across from Madison Avenue.
HANDICAPPED PARKING

Security Requirements
Please be advised that tape recorders, cameras, glass bottles, sprays, scissors, pocket knives, manicure clippers, tweezers, tools, chains, metal utensils, laser pointers, flashlights etc. are not allowed into the building. If you have any such items in your possession you will be given the option of returning the item to your vehicle or permanently surrendering the item to security.
