The Judges of the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit are pleased to announce that the Supreme Court of Illinois has approved the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit’s application for authorization to conduct Residential Real Estate Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation in Lake County. Several agencies have supported us in the program planning process including the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, Resolution Systems Institute, the Affordable Housing Corporation of Lake County , Prairie State Legal Services, the Office of the State’s Attorney of Lake County and the Office of the Circuit Court Clerk. We are also grateful to many mortgage foreclosure attorneys who took time to review the proposed local rules prior to their approval.
