Juvenile Justice Resource Guide

About the Guide
The Lake County Juvenile Justice Council is a consortium of individuals, county officials and representatives of community-based agencies that deal with issues concerning juvenile delinquency in Lake County.

The guide has been developed to provide families with some basic information about children and adolescents who may be experiencing problems in their lives. It was originally developed as a printed directory only, but the Council wanted to tap into the power of the Internet. As with the directory, the website is designed to provide you with some basic information, including, but not limited to, possible signs and symptoms, in order to direct you to the appropriate resources that are available here in Lake County, Illinois. The guide will also guide you through the steps to accessing help and assist you in working within the various systems involved.
